Where does the produce come from?
We proudly offer our own homegrown produce when it’s in season, typically from Memorial Day weekend through September.
When certain items aren’t yet available from our fields, we also source from trusted farmers and growers we’ve built relationships with over the years. These partnerships help us bring you fresh, high-quality produce with minimal handling and maximum freshness.
We also work with farmer friends in Georgia who grow the same varieties we use on our own farm. Because their season starts earlier, they’re able to grow for us before our Nebraska fields are ready.
Some fruits and vegetables simply don’t thrive in the Midwest. That’s why favorites like peaches come from places such as Georgia, Colorado, and Idaho, depending on the season.
How do I apply for a job at Huffman Produce?
Huffman Produce begins hiring each spring for seasonal roadside stand positions. Many of our team members are high school and college students, so when school starts back up in the fall, we often have additional openings to help us finish out the season through the end of September.
We offer a variety of positions, each with slightly different responsibilities and schedules:
Setup Position: Drive directly to one of our stands to help unload the truck and set up for the day. Typical hours are around 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
Morning Shift (AM): Pick up a produce truck at our Valley farm, drive it to the stand, help set up, and sell produce during the day. Typical hours are around 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Afternoon Shift (PM): Pick up a produce truck at our Valley farm, sell produce at the stand until close, then return the truck. Typical hours are around 1:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Why should I buy from Huffman Produce instead of the grocery store?
We’re a small, local family farm based in Valley, Nebraska, and we’ve proudly served the Omaha metro since 2011.
We care deeply about how our produce is grown, sourced, and handled. Whether it comes from our own fields or from trusted partner farms, we’re committed to bringing you produce that is fresh, flavorful, and carefully selected.

Where can I find your stands?
Huffman Produce currently has two stand locations: one in West Omaha and one in Bellevue, Nebraska.

What if I receive a product that isn’t good quality?
We stand behind the freshness and quality of our produce. If you receive something that doesn’t meet your expectations, we want to make it right.

Does Huffman Produce offer delivery?
We offered delivery in the past, but we do not currently offer delivery at this time.
