Homegrown Harvest Timeline
At Huffman Produce, we grow much of our own produce right here in Valley, Nebraska — and we’re already harvesting a wide variety of homegrown favorites!
You can currently find cucumbers, pickling cucumbers, tomatoes, grape tomatoes, chocolate cherry tomatoes, zucchini, yellow squash, bell peppers, jalapeños, banana peppers, Anaheim peppers, green beans, and eggplant — all homegrown and available through the end of the season.
We also rotate fields regularly to ensure everything is picked fresh, tender, and super sweet.

Our homegrown Nirvana sweet corn arrived July 8th and is picked fresh daily. It’s incredibly tender and bursting with sweetness! - 🍈 Cantaloupe — Now Available!
Our homegrown Valley cantaloupe is finally here – picked fresh daily, and bursting with sweetness. Come grab one while they’re in season! - 🍉 Watermelon (Black Diamond Seedless & Sangria Seeded) — Now Available!
We’re currently offering sweet, juicy watermelons from trusted growers while we wait for our own homegrown watermelons to ripen! Ours our coming soon – they’re in the field now and almost ready! - 🌰 Winter Squash (Butternut, Acorn & Spaghetti) – Available around early to mid-September!

We start the season with Georgia peaches, then move into Colorado Palisade peaches, and finally offer Idaho peaches as we head toward the end of the season. Always tree-ripened and packed with flavor!
